Simple Staples for Spooktober

It’s finally October and today is fashion Friday! Earlier this month I shared an ASOS haul on Instagram in preparation for my favourite month of the year! After buying my necessary knitwear for Autumn I realised that I was lacking in spooktacular accessories for my favourite time of year. So in case you needed to know how to subtly, and spookily, jazz up your autumn outfits in the Halloween spirit, here is how I’ve done it!

ASOS Design Halloween Cobweb Over the Knee Socks

Comfy and adorable, these will go with pretty much anything this season. Here I’m wearing them to lounge (and write this post), but they can be paired with boots and the classic LBD too.

Pretty Polly Halloween Bat Tights

I am obsessed with these tights. They are the perfect combo with a short skirt or dress, but can be regular tights when you need them! I paired them with my boots and my heels to see how flexible they can be, and it turns out very! They also went great under my over the knee boots so you can see how excited I got over them.

Pretty Polly Halloween Black Cat Tights

Ok so if you want something just like the bat tights but more cat-like, these are perfect. In the same design, they can be regular tights and go with every kinda shoe you imagine. I would wear these to lunch just as I would to a Halloween party. They can be the perfect low maintenance costume if you pair them with some cat ears!

And both sets can be pulled up or down comfortably to show or hide the stocking effect! For reference, I’m 5’5.

London Rebel High Block Heel Boots

My staple since I was 18, block ankle boots in black have been the ultimate addition to any A/W outfit. Not just because they go with everything I’ve just listed, but they go with everything else I’ve ever bought. They turn a summer dress into an autumn date night with a leather jacket, for one.

I hope you love these simple accessories to make any A/W outfit adorably spooky and comfy! If you loved these as much as I did, you can find them all on ASOS and some are even in the sale! Please let me know in the comments if you’ve tried these too, and share this post with your fashion friends. You can see more updates on my social media, too.
