Are you ready?

We are just one week away from the release of Eleri’s Kingdom! I am really happy with how it has come along and am just finishing up those pesky last few chapters as part of Camp NaNoWriMo.

So far you have read excerpts from the first three chapters, you know the chapter titles, and you know who’s who at Court. Hopefully you have enough knowledge to delve into Eleri’s life and its trials and tribulations (pun intended). I will be hosting an Instagram countdown to celebrate those last few days of July. If you’d like to join in, the details can be found on my page!

As camp wraps up, I want to hear about your progress and projects! What was the easiest part and what was the hardest? For me, the easiest part was preparing for camp and developing the outline for my story. The hardest was definitely putting pen to paper! I really struggled with motivation this time round and this project is definitely pushing me to finish Book One.

Plans for August

A new month, a new goal! While EK is going to be scheduled to release itself on here every Wednesday at 6pm, I will be embarking on some new journeys and projects.

  • I will be adding a third blog post to my schedule, as voted for on my Instagram poll it will appear on Saturdays at 11am.
  • My blogging will extend from creative writing and reading, to my passion for mental health awareness and my career in its treatment.
  • I will endeavour to get closer to a first draft of Book One.
  • I am going to do more reading and be posting book reviews as I go!
  • What I need from you

  • I need your ideas! I want to know what it is that you want to read about. Let me know in the comments what you think of my goals and please do add in questions you would like answered or topics you’d like covered. Also, keep me posted on your Camp NaNoWriMo and your goals for August too!

    1. First, I’ve seen/heard a lot about Camp NaNoWriMo but still don’t fully understand what it is. 😬 Second, love your goals. I think adding in more mental health is a great idea as you can never have enough information or awareness on the subject.
